Punta Cana Airport Informational Guide to Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) - Non Official

Punta Cana Airport Bus

See Punta Cana Airport Bus options as follows:

Local buses - Guaguas

Local bus lines operate on most of the roads of the area at a minimal cost. The so-called Guaguas, minibuses, stand for the local buses in Punta Cana.

Please note that it isn’t a direct service, they just stop at every hotel in the zone in order to transfer passengers, that means transfer times can be longer than an hour.

The downside to public transportation in the Dominican Republic is irregular bus schedules, crowded vehicles, and potentially unsafe vehicles, drivers or passengers.

Although for the most part it is a safe and effective mean of transportation, it is generally recommended to use one of the more frequented means of getting around.

Location

Guaguas are located outside the Arrivals Hall of both terminals.

Where do I buy my ticket?

Guaguas ticket is purchased on board to the driver.
